Members are Receiving Replies

My members are receiving topic replies as they are posted in addition to the digest. Is there a setting to stop this? Thanks!

Hi Dan,

Yes, it’s the Instant Notification setting. Users can set their own preference in their profile pages or you can force-disable it for everyone via Admin > bbPress Notify (No-Spam) > Settings > Digests.

Uncheck ‘Default Instant Forum Notifications’ if it’s checked, then check Instant Notifications under ‘Apply these defaults to all EXISTING users.’. Finally, click the big red update button.

Click the Save Changes button at the bottom to make it so that new users do not have instant notifications enabled upon signing up.
