WP_SMTP will only handle the delivery of the bbpnns notifications. The RBE will be reading the inbox that you configure in the RBE settings. It will also inject a reply-to header in the bbpnns notifications so that when the recipient clicks to reply, the address will be the special address for that user/topic combination.
They can be different addresses.
