Hi Brent, I started posting the answer yesterday and finished this morning. I didn’t realize that it didn’t get saved.
Basically, the license is only required for updates and support. You don’t need it on a staging site as it’s normally short-lived.
That said, if you still want to activate the license on the staging site and it’s not deactivating in production, you can go to https://usestrict.net/my-account/api-keys and deactivate the license there. It will allow you to activate it on staging.
