bbPress Notify (No-Spam)/AccessAlly Bridge is an add-on to ensure that notifications sent by bbPress Notify (No-Spam) follow the rules set by AccessAlly.

bbPress Notify (No-Spam)

bbPress Notify (No-Spam), aka bbPNNS is a powerful notification plugin designed to send out alerts to all users belonging to selected roles. By default, however, it does not come with support for filtering out people who do not have access to see a given forum.

Requirement: AccessAlly + AccessAlly bbPress Add-on

With AccessAlly you can specify which forums (and other content) certain users are able to view. If you’re using bbPNNS with Role Notifications, however, all users of the selected roles will receive notifications for all forums – even the ones they don’t have access to.

That’s where the bbPNNS AccessAlly Bridge comes in. However, make sure you also have installed the AccessAlly bbPress Add-on (provided by AccessAlly) so that the topics and replies inherit their forums’ permissions.

Bridge Settings

There are absolutely NO settings required for this to work. Simply activate it and it will make bbPress Notify (No-Spam) play nicely with AccessAlly.
