This add-on for eShop allows you to specify stock on a product-by-product basis.

Installation

  1. Upload eshop-per-product-stock-control.zip to your blog’s wp-content/plugins directory;
  2. Activate the plugin in your Plugin Admin interface;
  3. Go to Settings -> eShop -> General, and set Stock Control to “Yes”;
  4. Tick the checkbox next to “Enable Per Product Stock Control”;
  5. Save your changes;
  6. Set the product-wide stock in the Product Entry form;
  7. Save your product;

This add-on for eShop Shipping Extension allows you to specify free shipping on a product-by-product basis.

Installation

  1. Download eshop-per-product-free-shipping.zip and upload it to to your blog’s wp-content/plugins directory;
  2. Activate the plugin in your Plugin Admin interface;
  3. Create a package class called “free” (case insensitive);

  4. Assign that class to the products which you want to offer free shipping.

How it Works

If your client has added only products having free shipping to their cart, then the Checkout form will not even allow querying the shipping carrier. For cases of mixed products, then the free ones will not be included in the weight/dimensions calculation.

However, it doesn’t do any filtering of spam comments. Tired of receiving spam email notifications from bbPress, I contacted the original author with a snippet to filter out the pesky messages. As I got no reply, I branched the plugin myself. Feel free to download and install the spam-free version: bbpress-notify-nospam.

I’m submitting it to WordPress.org today. Let’s see if they’ll approve it.

Installation

  2. Upload eshop-shipping-extension-handling.zip to your blog’s wp-content/plugins directory;
  3. Activate the plugin in your Plugin Admin interface;
  4. Set eShop shipping preferences to Mode 4 (by Weight & Zone);
  5. Set the Shipping Weight Units under eShop -> Shipping;
  6. Go to Settings -> eShop Shipping Extension to activate and configure your Handling Fee Add-on.
